Hollie Ann Henke
Ohio
Bio: Hollie is a jill-of-all-trades and master of a few. She is your typical introvert attempting to live a simpler life in a complicated world. She has two grown children who live in a much warmer climate. When she is not researching her family's history, you might find her writing, taking some photographs, digging in the dirt, doing a little yoga, or with her nose in a book. You also might find her walking along the Ohio & Erie Canal with her other half and their two dogs, Ben and Gus - a grouchy, old mixed-breed and a spoiled Siberian Husky. If you can't find Hollie, she's probably at the library.

Hi Hollie; thanks for following ZimmerBitch. Good luck with your blog. Look forward to reading more. Cheers, Su.

Just wanted to stop by and let you know how well-written and informative I find your ancestor posts.

Thanks for reading! I’ve been away from the more in-depth ancestor posts for a bit of time (life interrupts), but have a half-dozen poised and almost ready to go. I’m looking forward to a more productive researching and writing year in 2017. Thanks for the compliment! It’s appreciated.

This picture of Dad, Clarence “Delbert” Champion, on the left, the little boy on the stump is Duane Smith, & the man on the right is Stanley Smith, Duane Smith’said dad.

I have reason to believe that part of the Myers family in Columbiana, Ohio are connected to Captain Nicholas Myers from Baltimore Maryland. His wife is Mary is found living here with a son Abram Myers in the 1850 census.
