  1. I believe my family’s ancestry includes Charles Heckendorn, the son of Jacob Jr. Heckendorn and grandson of Reinhard Jacob Heckendorn. I have only been able to find census data on Charles. Would you happen to know of any additional information on Charles and even Jacob Jr. My name is David Hackethorn and email address jd1505@verizon.net

    1. Hello, David. Please excuse the length of time that it has taken me to respond. Could you clarify for me whether you are referencing Charles, b. abt 1785, son of Johann Jacob and Anna Maria Banzin? Or Charles, b. abt 1810 son of Jacob and Elizabeth Sadler? I might be able to provide a little bit of information but want to make sure that we are looking at the same men. Also, if you haven’t already, you might want to have a look back at this posting from 2015: https://relativityitsallrelative.com/2015/01/27/52-ancestors-4-reinhard-jacob-heckendorn-they-say-its-your-birthday/
